Don’t Waste Your Wishes is a heartfelt story that blends magical with meaningful. It is the story of a little dragon named Sebastian grappling with the loss of his Nona, but gifted a wand with three wishes that might alter his lonely existence. His first two wishes are a bust…. Power and possessions are not what will make him happy. He needs to figure out what he really wants before he wastes ALL his wishes.

Kearen Enright
Kearen and Michael Enright live in Connecticut, where they raised their four children. Don’t Waste Your Wishes was born from the feeling of “Mommy-guilt”, when their toddler’s favorite toy, a little green dragon, was lost. Mike started to muse that Ryan’s little green Sebastian was feeling sad and alone too…. That started it all!
The quest to learn illustration started so Sebastian the dragon could come to life. Kearen has been a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators since 2010. She wrote and illustrated Quarry Story, a children’s book about the history of the brownstone quarries near their home. Ms. Enright was featured as the illustrator for the first chapter of The Great CT Caper, a chapter book which was published by the CT Humanities/Center for the Book: Twelve chapters, twelve writers, twelve illustrators, to promote literacy in Connecticut. She has also illustrated several books for other authors.
